Recently I was inspired by Nuts.com’s project to spread awareness of how healthy almonds are. I love almonds, I know how incredibly good they are for your health and I thought everyone would enjoy reading this post. I’ll also share some of our favorite delicious almond recipes, so you can make a yummy dish using almonds too!
Here’s an image from Nuts.com providing a few reasons to eat almonds everyday. Wow, pretty interesting, isn’t it?!
Nuts.com has some of the freshest nuts (of course their yummy almonds are one of them), dried fruits, chocolates & sweets, snacks, coffee & teas, cooking & baking items, assorted flours and food gifts. Wow, they offer some great items! I also personally know this because my Mom has been ordering nuts from them, along with seeds and unique flours since she started making our 12 Seed and Grain Mix. She did a search for many of the unique flours, seeds and grains and Nuts.com had the products she was looking for – and at good prices!
So, here we go. Let’s check out some of the amazing health benefits of almonds, along with a few of our almond recipes.

Delicious recipes using almonds!
So, what are your thoughts about almonds and their health benefits? It sure makes you want to add more almonds to your diet! Doesn’t it? As a matter of fact I was eating a handful of smoked almonds while I was writing this post. Because I really do love them and they’re so good for me!
To add more almonds to your diet (like we do) you can sprinkle them on salads, glazed cakes & pies, chocolates, add them to many different baked goods, or just eat them right out of the bag! Almonds add such a nice crunchy taste to many recipes.
