Laila’s cake inspiration was from Pinterest. Their friend, Jen created this masterpiece and does an amazing job decorating cakes! She also created Laila’s 1st birthday cake last year. It was an Under the Sea Theme and everyone loved this delicious and beautiful cake as well!
In the back you’ll see some Minnie Mouse cupcakes. They got their inspiration from lil’ luna, her cupcakes are absolutely adorable! I didn’t bring my favorite decorating tool, so our Minnie Mouse Cupcakes didn’t turn out as cute as hers, but they were pretty and tasted great too!
Here’s their sweet little family from left to right: Laila, Chelsea and Kenny with their dogs, Caden and Connor.
They bought the Minnie Mouse headbands at Walmart in their party section.

Kenny created the food labels and I love how he designed them and came up with their clever little names like Mickey’s Club-House Sandwiches. He took a Minnie Mouse Cookie Cutter to cut each slice of bread and lunch meat, then just lined them up on a serving platter.
They used this Minnie Mouse Cookie Cutter for the sandwiches. If you look at the bread cutouts you can see the bow impression – so cute!
These little Hot-Diggity Dogs are incredibly easy to make. Just take some Lit’l Smokies Cocktail Links, equal parts of grape jelly and BBQ sauce, mix them together in a slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours.
Or try our family’s favorite Slow Cooker BBQ Kielbasa, it’s similar and super tasty too!
Pluto’s PB & J station was popular and using soft, light whole wheat bread makes these sandwiches a little more nutritious.

She loves to bake with MiMi (that’s what she lovingly calls me) and wanted her stand mixer right next to Chelsea’s. We were making some delicious cookies that day and had such a great time together!
Laila loves singing, dancing, taking walks, being outside and exploring God’s beautiful plants and flowers. We are so grateful for her little life and Chelsea and Kenny are doing a wonderful job raising her. She’s so sweet, kind to everyone and a beautiful little girl!
